The event, the Pre-doctoral Award Ceremony at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, was held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at a luncheon on campus. Alexandra Forney is entering her fourth year at the dental school, and is a San Antonio native. Alexandra has been Class President for three years. Alexandra was very excited and surprised to be named this year’s Carus Scholarship recipient. Alexandra exemplifies the kind of student leader of today and the future leader of tomorrow that the Carus Scholarship is awarded to every year. Congratulations Alexandra!
